How to create a blog on blogger.com

1. Sign into blogger.com 
- Sign in button is in top right corner.
* you must have a gmail account to sign up

2. Once signed in on the left hand side click the down arrow

3. Click new blog
4. Enter a name for new blog
5. Select a blog address or url
6. Choose a template
7. Create blog

Next Level Blogging

             Blogs are such a useful tool for many different purposes. For me, I would most likely use it to bring awareness to topics I am passionate about.  For me, one of the most important topics I am interested in is disability rights and overall treatment of those with disabilities in society. Currently, Twitter is my main place to express my opinions on the topic, mainly because it also allows me to interact with others in the community. I believe though with the use of a blog I could get more of my words and opinions out in a way that's more put together and professional. Social sites like Twitter, while an excellent way to get a message out to a large community has character limits and long threads of tweets can start to look messy.
