How to change the theme of your blog

Choose a theme to use

  1. Sign in to Blogger.
  2. In the top left corner, click the Down arrow.
  3. Click a blog to update.
  4. In the left menu, click Theme.
  5. Click the theme you want to use.
  6. In the bottom right, click Apply to Blog.
  7. Optional: To save a copy of your theme, in the top right, click Backup/Restore and then Download theme.

Use a Dynamic Views theme

When you’re using a Dynamic Views theme:
  • Blogger will record each post displayed as a pageview.
  • Your readers will have the option to change their default view.
To use Dynamic Views, make sure sharing is turned on for your blog.

Customize your theme 
  1. Sign in to Blogger.
  2. In the top left, click the Down arrow Down arrow.
  3. Click a blog to update.
  4. In the left menu, click Theme.
  5. Under “Live on Blog," click Customize.
  6. Use the left menu to customize your background image or color and to adjust widths, layout, and other settings.
  7. In the top right corner, click Apply to Blog to make your changes live.

Next Level Blogging

             Blogs are such a useful tool for many different purposes. For me, I would most likely use it to bring awareness to topics I am passionate about.  For me, one of the most important topics I am interested in is disability rights and overall treatment of those with disabilities in society. Currently, Twitter is my main place to express my opinions on the topic, mainly because it also allows me to interact with others in the community. I believe though with the use of a blog I could get more of my words and opinions out in a way that's more put together and professional. Social sites like Twitter, while an excellent way to get a message out to a large community has character limits and long threads of tweets can start to look messy.
